unphish was developed with support from the Australian Government Industry Growth Program in response to the increasing impact of phishing and online impersonation on Australian organisations and the limitations of manual enforcement processes.
The program enabled the platform to evolve from an early prototype into an operational system capable of large-scale deployment. Development focused on unified detection, automated evidence preparation, and repeatable enforcement workflows aligned with provider and platform requirements.
As a result, organisations can investigate and remove malicious infrastructure with reduced preparation effort and improved response consistency across registrars, hosting providers, and online services.
